Mayfair by the Sea 8 presents a refined transformation of a new three-bedroom residence into a serene, open-concept home that seamlessly fuses Japanese Zen principles with the understated luxury of a New York executive apartment. By removing the conventional corridor, the layout opens fully to the floor-to-ceiling curtain wall, amplifying city and partial sea views while enhancing spatial grandeur. Thoughtfully curated elements—including a Zen-inspired bathroom, a dedicated dry area, and a tailored Kingsman-style closet—balance functionality with quiet elegance. A distinctive orange glass screen subtly delineates the living space from the en-suite bedroom, casting a warm, atmospheric glow that shifts with light and weather. Minimal yet expressive lighting further defines the apartment’s character without disrupting ceiling lines, resulting in a calm, contemporary sanctuary that redefines modern urban living.

Bel-Air residence is crafted as a serene, contemporary retreat for a young family seeking distinction and comfort. The reconfigured layout enhances flow and function—from the refined foyer storage zone to the balanced children’s rooms—while curved forms and warm materials soften the home’s architectural lines. Handcrafted brick-red tiles, a striking orange mirror that amplifies natural light, and discreetly integrated systems create an elegant visual rhythm throughout the living spaces.

The Details

In the private areas, cohesive materials and thoughtful detailing foster calm and clarity. The master suite features a dedicated walk-in closet and a sunlit en-suite energized by orange glass and large-format tiles. The children’s rooms express individuality through soft, playful colors yet remain unified through shared finishes and rounded furnishings for safety. The result is a quietly sophisticated home where functionality, artistry, and family-centered design are seamlessly intertwined.

This 1,500-square-foot Happy Valley residence is reimagined as a refined, baby-friendly home where safety and style coexist seamlessly. Designed for a young family expecting their first child, the flat was stripped back to its shell and rebuilt with a soft, unified design language centred on gently rounded 250mm radiused corners. These curved details appear throughout—on door frames, cabinetry, ceilings, mirrors, and furniture—creating a warm, continuous flow while eliminating sharp edges. Multi-layered dropped ceilings with indirect lighting further enhance the apartment’s softness, with a recessed feature above the dining area setting the stage for a sculptural pendant light.
