The library, situated on a National Class AAAA historical site in Lian Hua Feng, Haimen, Guangdong Province, stands as a testament to educational commitment. Donated by a benefactor in memory of his late father, the library seamlessly integrates with its coastal surroundings and pays homage to local history. Its architectural design features two overlapping circles, symbolizing unity, while the six prominent columns of its façade bow respectfully towards a nearby World War II mass grave. This design reflects not only aesthetic values but also embodies the principles of respect, humility, and politeness derived from the traditional Chinese text, Di Zi Gui.
On Construction
Constructed using locally sourced materials like reinforced concrete and clay bricks, the library adheres to strict guidelines that preserve the historical integrity of the site, home to ancient structures such as the Lian Feng Gu Si temple and Lian Feng College. The thoughtfully designed three-storey building includes a semi-open central atrium, enhanced by a dynamic pyramid-like staircase that captures natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere. Additionally, a retail space was incorporated to support operational costs, while the green rooftop mitigates solar heat gain and offers visitors stunning views of the surrounding landscape, ensuring that the library remains a harmonious component of its historical and cultural context.

The Argentum Art Gallery redefines the jewelry counter as an immersive sculptural landscape, blending the organic beauty of nature with the precision of architectural form. Taking ideas from the brand’s “architecture” and “nature” series, the main display looks like a landscape with smooth lines that resemble hills and valleys, moving away from the stiff look of regular mall displays. Embedded within this organic terrain, glass-box display islands rise like an urban jungle, creating a striking dialogue between natural fluidity and built structure. Visitors are invited to walk between these sculpted forms, becoming part of the landscape rather than mere observers.
